New formed world, endowed by our creator, a wanderlust
Wealth bestowed, emblazed with "IN GOD WE TRUST"
Simple beginnings, school prayer, the learning of our young
Abiding by the laws of nature and nature's God was sung
Truths testified, so help me God, a legal but sacred pact
This nation under Him brought forth no question of fact
New Birth of freedom, all men created equal, His glory
Sad chapters now, worshipping idols, becomes a tragic story
Chiseled, Laus Deo on a cherished monument, should it say Et Tu
Tolerance a religion, dare not speak His name, prayer might ensue
One nation under God, our pledge, forthwith a great impropriety
Veritably, we fought and died for the right to become a Godless society
Belief in our Lord and our God-given rights once exalted a great nation
Forsaking Him now; shall it be our damnation, for God's desecration
The LORD frustrates the plans of the nations and thwarts all their schemes. But the LORD's plans stand firm forever; his intentions can never be shaken. What joy for the nation whose God is the LORD, whose people he has chosen as his inheritance. Psalm 33:10-12
