The Candy Cane

A candy cane turned upside down
forms the letter "J"
and when you add "E-S-U-S"
what does this word say?

"JESUS"

The cane looks like a Shepard's staff
when turned the other way.
It's used to keep their sheep in line
so they won't go astray.
