Carried Home

One awesome day the Lord found me.
I saw that day my helpless need.
He is the one who set me free,
And sealed me by the Spirit's seed.

Without Him I am surely lost.
On bended knee, my face with tears.
The price He paid for me, what cost!
That perfect love now cast out fears.

Today I try to walk with Him.
Some days I fail, my heart does sink,
Not wanting light of His to dim,
Forgiveness flows before I blink.

Today He is my sure anchor.
His fellowship sweet, filled with bliss
Eternal life's mine forever.
He brought me close; I was helpless

I soon will walk those golden streets,
Heaven's a place where all pain's gone.
My hope - to dance to cosmic beats.
His mercy shall forever dawn.

The one who is joy, love and light.
The one who is grace, truth and sight.
His spirit fills my life so bright,
Carried home on shoulders of might.

John 14:3
..if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.
