The LORD’S Throne and Footstool

The Heavens are the good LORD's throne—
the Earth is His footstool.
"His hand has made both Earth and skies"— (Isaiah 66:2, TLB)
Yahweh is King who rules. . .
The King of kings, the LORD our God—
Sustainer of all things—
is filled with grace and righteousness
and shares with us blessings.
It is the LORD who looks upon
humanity with love
and sees the hearts of one and all
as He reigns above.
He knows the humble and the weak
and those with hardened hearts.
He sees the ones who choose a path
where good deeds do their part.
And those who choose their own pathways—
"delighting in their sins" (Isaiah 66:3, TLB)
will have to answer to the LORD
for ugly sins within.
