Jesus, The Lord of My Life

Jesus, be the Lord of my life,
change me, to Your desire
wash me clean from my sin
set my soul for You on fire.

Be the Leader of my life,
take me to Your love and grace
let the Holy Spirit be my guide
so Your mercy I may embrace.

Be the Captain of my life,
steer me to know Your perfect will
direct my every thought and deed
anchor me with the Spirit's zeal.

Be the Master of my life,
make me an instrument unto You
give me the tools that I need
to bring others to love You too.

Jesus, be the Lord of my life,
use me now, is what I pray
let me be Your light that shines
onto a world that's gone astray!
