Our Thoughts In Troubled Times

In this time of struggle and stress,
Let us not, with our thoughts, transgress.
Let us not show our hidden fears,
That fill our minds and close our ears.

Let us just give those thoughts to God,
Ask forgiveness to be restored.
Let us just focus on God's truth,
Not let our thoughts become uncouth.

Submit to God, resist satan,
Read Scripture, to our path, strengthen.
Set our minds on things 'not on earth,'
Things of God have far greater worth.

We're God's ambassadors on earth,
Joined to His family at rebirth.
Do our words and what we're doing,
Show others it's God's love they're viewing?
