The ones who raised you, your father and mother
Your friends, your lovers, your sisters and brothers
Born talents you possess and your intuitions
The many doctors work hard to heal your conditions
Anything you can touch and most of what you can see
The tasks completed and built with your ability
Instincts you developed and those things that you feel
Not all the world says, but some you believe to be real
Those who have your back and the safety of your house
Love received from your children and your spouse
What you learned in institutions from countless teachers
Lessons shouted from the pulpit by lifelong preachers
All important things you rely on, cherish, trust, and adore
Yet still it is God, your Lord above; you trust Him more
