God Sees the Hearts and Souls of Mankind

and deep within each soul.
He understands our willful ways
and purpose of our goals.
There is nothing we can hide -
He knows our thoughts and deeds.
The Lord is wise beyond all bounds
and knows our every need.
Lord, we come to You, in prayer, and ask . . .
Search our hearts and souls, dear Lord,
we ask of You this day.
Please take our hands and show us
Your everlasting Way.
