The Promised Land

Good morning Blessed Trinity,
be with me through each day—
Protect, and guide—watch over me—
share with me Your pathway.

Enlighten me with ears to hear
and eyes to see Your Way.
Reveal to me what You want me
to hear and see each day.

Please let me come draw near to You
and follow You each day.
I wish to be forevermore
with You, not far away.

I promise to be reverent—
I promise to obey.
I promise to be purposeful
in all my thoughts and ways.

I promise to be virtuous,
and faithfully I'll pray
for each and every soul that's lost—
for those who've gone astray.

And if You lead me to the lost
I'll offer them my hand,
to guide them back into Your fold—
back to the Promised Land.
