There Upon That Christmas Morn

by Pearl Leona Sturgis
https://www.facebook.com/pearlleona

Long ago from days of old
there's a story that is told;
There's a place so dear to me...
far across the deep blue sea.

There upon that Christmas Morn
in a manger Christ was born.
There's a hill named "Calvary"
where He died for you and me.

There His purple robe was worn.
There they made His crown of thorns
There my Saviour went away
but He's coming back someday.

Can you hear their mournfull call
kneeling at the wailing wall?
Gazing at the eastern sky ...
we will see Him by and by.
