Build a Bridge

He has asked us all to build a bridge
Providing a narrow but safer path
Past raging waters below the ridge
A walkway over a lost world of wrath

There are many in need of this gift
Still blind to what He will offer
Forgiveness for a soul that He will lift
Once we share the Word and its Author

So, bring healing and unity to them all
Connect them with the Savior so they know
He is the structure needed to prevent a fall
To what sadly awaits them down below

Use the gospel as the piers to build a platform
That will span from earth to eternity
Built by disciples who will help transform
Those crossing over to Heaven's certainty
