Angel Butterfly

A butterfly flutters it's butterfly wings
Silently bringing us joy
It's beauty surpasses so many things
It's a gift we forever enjoy


You were so much like that butterfly
But your wings were of silver and gold
Your love was perfection in God's own eyes
And it's brilliance, our hearts, would behold


We'll remember that radiant smile of yours
And your nature, so gentle and kind
The love that you gave as a perfect gift
Forever, we'll use as our guide


Please pray for us all and hold our hands
As time goes by and by
Until such time as we meet again
