He Came To All

He came to all:
A King ... "proclaim!
For all angels bow
At His dear Name.
And, All Heaven gazed
In reverent awe
To see God's Son
Upon the straw.

Angelic hosts
With anthems raised,
Came to the earth,
Sang songs and praised
This Prince of Peace
God willed to give,
That all on earth
May hear and live.

He came to all
A King, we know,
And men now bow --
Sweet praise bestow!
We may be weak;
And by sin broken,
Yet to each heart
God's Love has spoken!

In a manger bed
With humble start,
God placed His Child,
To fill each heart!
Christ came to all:
This King proclaim!
We will forever bow
At His dear Name.
