Refreshment’s Gift

soothing fear within its beat,
Thunder rolls a distant threat
lazy days in summer heat.
Cool water trickles a refreshment
contentment to a dry thirst,
Shelter from the coming storm
flowers from the shadows burst.
Nature blooms within my soul
the Creator's special gift,
Rest in the favour that He gives
through all the distractions sift.
