Whispers

by Karen Stringfield © 2016

I fall to my knees in unbridled despair
All my discretions fall on Jesus, it seems so unfair.
But I can't do this all on my own.
I hear a voice coming from the great white throne.

Whispers of mercy and grace float across the air
I have accepted His perfect love is all he declares
Tears spill down my face, my hands raised high
He grants me peace and I can only sigh.

Joy and happiness are uncontrolled
Precious grace poured over me and filled my empty soul.
"Enter into heaven" is all I hear
I feel his arm around me and he pulls me near.

The gates of heaven swing open wide
Tears of gladness spill down my cheeks that I can't hide.
I will spend eternity with this precious deity.
If my family and friends don't come it will be a pity.

Please reflect on the condition of your soul and pray.
Hopefully you will and I will see you in heaven some day!
