His Truth Working

I never found such truth profound
As in the Word of God!
I wonder now that I missed, how?
I find it very odd.

But there it is, the Word that's His
It's full of truth for sure.
He gave His all, then gave His call.
His righteous blood, my cure.

With grace He came, my heart to tame,
Unruly as it was.
That sacrifice, His mercy, nice.
My heart is now abuzz.

My life so dim, but truth from him
Did help me find my way.
His Word so pure, it was my lure
That brings me home to stay.
