Freed From Fear

A badger seems so grumpy,
That bear might soon attack.
Lion's give a chilling roar.
We better move on, Jack!

This world is full of dangers.
Why God has made it so?
Threats seem to be everywhere
And Satan is our foe.

Sin came to life and killed us.
We lost that battle - all.
Now death is sure to grab us.
What can we do to stall?

But then the God who made us
Sent mercy by His Son.
And grace and love soon followed,
The battle, He then Won!

When dangers now lunge for us,
We're covered by His shield.
No harm comes to those in Him,
Our will, we now must yield.

He made it such, this we see,
He's all we'll ever need.
So let your trust be with Him,
You ones, from fear, He freed.

1 John 4:18a
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear...
