Why Did You Decide to Leave?

Lord, we pray that all who are weary and carry heavy burdens will come to You. Please comfort them and give them rest—grant them peace and encouragement to continue their journey with You as their Guiding Light and Protector.

O' why did you decide to leave
and chose your time to die?
What caused you so much pain within—
what troubles did you hide?

O' why did you decide to leave—
you left us all behind.
We grieve for you—we're at a loss,
and answers we can't find.

O' why did you decide to leave—
God did not tell you to.
Your journey on this earth cut short—
this choice was made by you.

O' why did you decide to leave—
you did not say goodbye.
Our hearts are heavy—filled with grief—
you left us all to cry.

O' why did you decide to leave—
O' why—we do not know.
Right now, we all will pray for you
as our deep sorrow grows.
