For All The Hers and Hims
Sometimes when I'm out in the quietness of His wonderful world it's like God puts his arm around me and He whispers/shouts, "Janet, look! I made all this and I will take care of you and yours!

Tear-worthy finalist in poetry contest
My sister and I were talking about how hard it is to read Easter-themed pieces without tears!(and that makes it hard to volunteer to read at an Easter Service:)But, we concluded, they are worthy tears...Jesus shed tears for us.

Solomon's Wisdom
My inspiration for this poem comes from the Bible verse, Hebrews 1:5, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him."

Shelter of Grace
I wrote this poem after reading, He Still Move Stones, by author Max Lucado. This poem, though very familiar to the one of the woman caught in the act of adultery in the Bible, is actually a reflection of my own story of miraculous salvation.

My Song of Praise
Psalm 9:2 - I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.

The Fathers Shoes
Jesus walked in every shoe we need. Shoes of grief, sorrow joy, love and many more.May we walk not only in the same steps, but also the same shoes.

He's Coming!
A little bit from Revelation 19 put to poetry.

The light at our feet
Sometimes our walk with God is darkened for one reason or another, but "Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path"
