On Bethlehem's Nightsong
This poem holds a unique perspective of what was going on in Bethlehem and surrounding areas on that sacred night. I like it because it gives me the thrill of hearing a familiar story over again and still feeling everything anew.
Our Calling
I am aware that many things have been done in the name of Christ that really are not of Christ. This poem reminds us that we the Church are to be a very different people.
I Am Nothing
Sometimes we must admit we are nothing without Jesus. He will carry us through any trial. As human beings we can do nothing without Him. I know, "I Am Nothing."
The Promised Kiss
I saw this elderly woman having dinner with her daughter. I could not stop staring at her as she reminded me of my Mom. I asked her for a hug, but she gave me a kiss and some words that only God could speak. I think God sent me an angel last night.
Three
This is a poem about a young woman with a prison ministry. Her husband is newly ordained and they have been blessed with a seven month old baby. A miracle baby, a miracle life. It is my joy to know this family.
So Much More
We are blessed to have a Christian doctor. She treats my husband like a father. There is no one quite like her. We are so thankful for this lovely woman.
