Poems About Virtue & Christ-likeness

Trail Dust and Dirt
A cowboy’s messy day,

Christ Liveth In Me
Galatians 2:20a KJVI am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me:

CONVENTION HYMN
This poem is a hymn I wrote during a Christian Easter Convention, not for the Convention. Its subject is the life of a Christian and how we live on this earth. Some details are given under the poem.

SERVANTS OF THE LIGHT
No matter how deep the sea, the Light will always be there to guide us.

A SHEPHERD LEFT HIS COMFORT ZONE
The poem developed from a comment a speaker made when teaching on the Lost Sheep. That comment was that the shepherd left his comfort zone to go to meet the sheep’s needs. It was night and it was hard. The shepherd was virtuous, and self-sacrificing.

From Revenge To Forgiveness
I was held captive by unforgiveness for years. The road to healing and freedom was long and not easy. Humbled by His grace, I was able to overcome hatred and found freedom in forgiveness.

WAKE UP & SMELL THE COFFEE
How can so many people not get it? They can't walk past a Coffee Shop without smelling the Coffee and being drawn in, but they can read The Word without understanding and carry on blindly.

WAKE THE SLEEPING MAN
Holy Spirit Men of the Remnant Church Rise Up. Don't assume that others will do all the work. Get involved and use the gifts God gave you no matter what they are.

WHY CANT I BE FAITHFUL
Maybe one day we will get it right....but then again probably not.. Thank you Lord for your boundless Grace and Mercy.
