She Hath Done What She Could
In Mark 14 is recorded the account of Mary of Bethany anointing Jesus when she broke an expensive alabaster box of spikenard and poured it on Him. Jesus said that this act should be spoken of as a memorial of her throughout the world.
One Out of Ten Gave Thanks
Luke 17:17 says, "And Jesus answering said, were there not ten cleansed, but where are the nine?" Jesus healed ten lepers, but only one gave thanks. We need to be thankful for what God does for us.
These That Turned the World Upside Down
The Jews, who were unbelievers, spoke about those who were on fire for Christ and who preached the Gospel in this way in Acts 17:6B, "these that turned the world upside down are come hither also."
A Time To Grieve
Ecclesiastes 3:4 says, "A time to weep, and a time to laugh, a time to mourn, and a time to dance." I think God permits us to have a time to mourn or grieve over the loss of a loved one.
