The Portrait
I am a work in progress. God is the Author and finisher of my life. His unfailing love is what carries me through each day. He paints a picture of me and I am blessed when I can see, all He desires to give to me...

Pause
I have been sick for three months. God put my life on pause and together we wrote a novel! God will use us no matter what. Sometimes He allows trials so He can get close.

IT
When I was a new Christian I quite arrogantly believed there were sins I simply could not commit. I have learned that I am capable of any sin, but for the grace of God, and my Savior, Jesus Christ, I am saved...

On Eagle's Wings
To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. How the Lord brings me to Him is a mystery, so my imagination flies with the eagle. God may simply inhale and I will be at His feet, or the eagle may come. No matter, I'll be with Him...

Blinded by the Light
I met a woman in Bible study who is dying of cancer. The cancer took both her eyes and she is completely blind, yet her love for God fills her with light. I see God shining His light all over her.

In Jesus Name finalist in poetry contest
There is such joy in the prayers of a Christian. When we prayer for each other we serve Him. I love the very end of the prayer that tells the world who we pray to for everything. In Jesus Name, In Jesus Name. I thank the Father that Jesus came.

Be Still
One must be still before God if we wish to reflect His character. We must remain in His presence to achieve closeness with God.

Tethered
Christian families that keep their children close and in God's Word can spare the child the sorrow of sin. Children can miss so much sin when they had tethered to Christ. Sin will always be in the world, but Christian families can fight for their child.

All Things
When God says all things, He means all things, even various trials that we may suffer. Romans 8:28 "And we know that all things work together for the good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose."
