The Call Divine finalist in poetry contest
We sometimes find ourselves so busy pursuing our own dreams and ambitions that we forget the true purpose of our life. We let busyness take over our lives and it always brings us depression and anxiety. We need to get alone with God and refocus .

Adieu
This is a poem about the attitude with which we approach life. As the Bible instructs us, we should not lay up our treasures on earth, but should strive to lay up treasures in heaven. As Christians we should live as pilgrims in this world.

God Raised Him Up
The Resurrection of Christ not only proves that Jesus is who He said that He is, but it also reminds us of the power of God in bringing life out of death. In addition, the resurrection is the proof that Christ's atonement was sufficient to put away sin.

The Dawning of Hope second in poetry contest
This poem begins in the shadows of darkness but ends in the light of Christ. It is an attempt to paint a realistic picture of what one's outlook can be like without Christ, and what it can become through Christ.

No Condemnation finalist in poetry contest

The Answer is the Empty Tomb
The resurrection of Jesus Christ is a fundamental truth of the Christian faith. The truth and the historicity of the resurrection of Christ provides a firm foundation for the church to stand upon as we proclaim the truth about God and His love.

The Ministry
I always felt that I was called to preach, but over the past couple of years I have not been able to fulfill that calling. During this time i have had to learn that there are many other ways to serve God. One of the most important of these is prayer.

Father You are Glorious
This is a poem about the glory of God. It does the heart good to meditate on the glorious attributes of God and to remember that God, and all the He is, is for us. His strength and mercy and love make for a strong foundation upon which to build our hope.

KEYS TO GROWTH
The Bible tells us that we are to grow in grace. In addition to telling us to grow, it also gives us the keys to spiritual growth. A few of those keys are listed here.
