His Own
This poem is written from the perspective of someone who was abandoned as a child. God meets us in the depths of our despair to claim us as His very own
The Carpenter
This was written at a time that I was having a hard time seeing myself, as a Christian, the way I know God sees me. I loved the way this one turned out.
The Lighthouse
I wrote this poem after realizing that I have often missed God's messages to me. It is so easy to get caught up in life, and miss what is most important. This poem, I believe, reflects that.
Only
This was a joyous time in my life. I can tell by the tone of the poem that I was truly happy and hoping that my writing would help others to find God, and their faith.
Help Me To See
This in one among many poems that I have written over the years, in times that I needed that connection with God that I had a hard time finding. No matter what is going on in my life, it has always helped me to write.
My Darkest Hour
I wrote this right after I lost my husband of 23 years. It was a very difficult time, and as far as my faith goes, it was hard to hold on. God saw me through though, as he always does.
Paid In Full
Jesus died my death to set me free. He willingly gave His life to pay the penalty for my sin. He paid in full with His life and now offers me eternal life through Him.
