Christian Hope

A Lovely Ending Path finalist in poetry contest
A poetic description of the path we each walk with Christ.

You're Free
So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.John 8:36 NIV

Some sat in darkness and deepest gloom, imprisoned in iron chains of misery. “Lord, help!” they cried in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. He led them from the darkness and deepest gloom; he snapped their chains.Psalms 107:10‭

Send Your Burdens on up
Blessed be the Lord, who bears our burden day by day, Psalms 68:19Give your burdens to the Lord, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall.Psalms 55:22 NLT

Breath of Hope
The poem contrasts the differing hope between living without rain and living within Christ's reign.

Amazing Acceptance
When life throws you for a loop and you find yourself swirling in the depths, God is the only one that gives you grace and mercy. Accepting this truth is sometimes hard for a new believer, but it is essential.

Spread the Word
Life gives us opportunities to tell others of Jesus and his sacrifice for us.

Grieving With Hope
I was in bed looking at pictures of my 14 year old son, Joshua, who died 3 1/2 years ago. My heart is so broken. I fell asleep praying to God for comfort. I woke up in the middle of the night and wrote this poem. I grieve everyday but I grieve with hope.

As we are busy in every day life, it's easy to forget that the Holy Spirit is with you every moment of every day.
