Comforting & Joyous Poems

Why Me?
I think we all wonder why the Lord chose us when we are just made from dust.

Colors Unseen
This is a poem I wrote a few months after accepting Jesus into my heart. I am an artist and LOVE color and try and imagine what other colors are out there that in our vessels here on Earth we cannot see.

The Arms of God
Seek refuge in the arms of God, for He alone can meet every need.

Joy and Free finalist in poetry contest
The change on the inside. Such Joy that I am set free.

JOY
This poem is about joy.. . .“Shout for joy to God, all the earth! Sing the glory of his name; make his praise glorious,” (Psalm 66: 1–2, NIV) .

Awaken to the Morning Sun
“The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy. . . Come, let us sing for joy to the LORD; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation,” (Psalm 126:3, 95:1, NIV).

Goodbye for Now
A poem written reflecting on gathering to say goodbye to a loved one at a funeral. Today is my beloved mother in-law Joy's funeral. May these words bring some comfort for those who experience loss and grief.
