Poems About the World, Flesh & Satan

The dreaded DBS Check
Galatians 2:20—I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

It Is Our Mess
A simple poem on the need for confession and repentance. Confession of sin is the only way for erring Christians to be restored to a close walk with God.

That's Not Good Enough
Words hurt! The tongue speaks life or death. Opinions from others, words etc. can lift up one's soul or send a soul into destruction!

WE ARE ON THE LAST PAGE OF THE CHURCH AGE second in poetry contest
The world is a veneer hiding wickedness. We know where it is going – down. But we are going up. Christians are citizens of heaven, not earth. Man’s control is getting more chaotic. Fear not what evil men may do to us for hard time will come.

Satan is Real
Many in the world deny that Satan is in existence. The Bible is clear about who Satan is. John 10:10 calls him a thief and says that he comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I'd rather fix my eyes on Jesus than on Satan and his works.

Everything that is bad for you can be found on the TV. The hungry viewer laps up all the rubbish that is available at their fingertips. Be on your guard and discern the danger.

Don't fall into the trap of "If it feels good do it". There could and probably will be many consequences. If you want "Safe Sex" wear a wedding ring.

Be separate from the world. Nothing good is to be found there.

As the world tries to unite itself through religions, it distances itself even further from the True God.
